First Lesson:

Choose a natural living object and create a series of 5 ceramic pieces that show your object you chose in 5 completely different ways. 

1.  Be creative-show me uniqueness-nothing I have ever seen before.
2.  Each object should be able to stand on it’s own to represent your object, but also be able to stand together in a group to show a series-they should not be too similar
 3. I want to see you use your imagination and come up with these ideas based off of inspiration of something you find beautiful in nature.

Autobiographical Piece

Create an autobiographical piece that somehow represents who you are. 
It should entales 3 different components:

1.  an image that somehow reflects an important part about you
   a. Choose 5 different elements that represent you, your personality and the things you like
   b. Then sketch out in your sketchbooks how you are going to create it. 
   c. Think about a unique shape-nothing traditional-you need to think outside of the box
   d. This can not be an image you find on the internet-you should fully come up with this
       idea on your own. 
2.  Be sure to include small details throughout your piece.
3.  This should be on a larger scale-not too small.
